In your weekly learning reflections, make sure to try to use as much detail as seems reasonable and useful. Use plenty of examples of what activities and readings helped you learn. The idea is to help you build up useful material for the mid-term and final portfolio's reflective cover essays. In these essays, you'll be analyzing your learning and class participation in terms of the learning outcomes for the course. The more work you do each week, the easier and richer your portfolios will be. Since the portfolio is 50% of your grade, this weekly work translates into a much higher grade and less time spent drafting the mid-term and final portfolios; so, the extra time spent on the learning reflections each week is worth the investment.
To save your weekly learning reflections, post them to your blog.
